Are You Delirious?

If you’re a blogger or a general internet-fanatic, then you’ve probably heard of Del.icio.us, but have you heard of De.lirio.us? Del.icio.us, as most of you know, “is a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others.” Well, De.lirio.us is the same thing. What sets De.lirio.us apart from Del.icio.us? De.lirio.us is only two days old, it gives you the ability to post notes along with your links, and the site is powered entirely by open-source software. It will obviously take a while for De.lirio.us to evolve past Del.icio.us, mostly due to the size of Del.icio.us’ user base, but this will be one interesting evolution to watch.
