Yes, there is life after 18! My good friend, Jon Gales, has been featured (subscription required) in this month’s Business 2.0 magazine! And yes, he’s only 19! Why was he featured? Because he pulls, on average, $55k/year for working three hours a day (roughly) on a niche website. Jon’s site, MobileTracker, makes him about $70/hour. It’s amazing what finding a niche will get you. I guess you don’t have to be of drinking age to be successful after all. If you don’t have a Business 2.0 subscription, you can view the article as a large (1.2MB) JPEG here.
Halo, I’m sure you will all agree that it’s one heck of a game. However, even great games have their faults. And these faults can be highly entertaining. Don’t believe me? Michael Heilemann has found proof. Ok, so you could say that their space-age fuels really are that volatile, but it’s still funny.
Just in case you were wondering, I think I’m done changing the header now. I’ve added a drop shadow to give it a more professional look. I plan to keep it like this for a very long time.
Yes, it’s another fabulous and fabulously new header image! This one is by Bluewave.
Apple is now offering the Tiger Early Start Kit. That’s right, I’m talking to all you impatient developers and non-developers out there (but don’t expect a beginner-friendly package). The Kit comes with all the benefits of an ADC Select Membership (for one year), pre-release versions of OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and XCode 2.0, access to downloadable updates and documents, one-on-one Tiger support, and a free Tiger Training DVD while supplies last. The best part is, you get all of this for only $500. Sure, that sounds like a lot, but it’s the same price that you would pay if you bought the ADC Select Membership by itself!
