Apple has announced the release of an update to it’s iMac line. The new iMac may be the last PPC-based iMac before the new Intel line makes its public debut. The new iMac sports a massive increase in performance specifications, a built-in iSight camera, and Front Row, a new software environment which places your new iMac at the center of your home theater. With Front Row, you can “enjoy your music, movies, and photos from any seat in the house on a gorgeous, liquid crystal display.” The new iMacs are currently available for purchase and start at only $1,299.00.
