911 Blogs is the result of [Jason Bainbridge] wanting to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina in a geeky sort of way in addition to the traditional ways we have already contributed. It is a way that anyone affected in anyway by any sort of emergency situation can obtain a free hosted WordPress blog.
