MobileTracker has reported that the recently released iTunes v4.9 contains some references to mobile phones. This could mean that Motorola’s line of iTunes-powered phones may be released sometime this year.
Engadget has a preview of the Motorola iTunes phone here – http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000887049175/
Yeah, Phil sent that to me, which is what inspired this quick post. Unfortunately, there is literally nothing to prove whether or not that is an actual prototype, or a fake. Worse yet, the phone in Engadget’s image looks almost exactly like the Motorola E398. The E398 is so out of date, and the E790 is supposed to be so revolutionary, that I am expecting a little bit more of a physical redesign. I just don’t trust Engadget on this one. I’ll wait for Jon to dig up some concrete facts before I make a genuine decision about the authenticity of Engadget’s “E790” photos.
