  1. YaY! I wonder if they will have a release party at the Apple Stores. Too bad it wasn’t the 15th, kind of wanted to play with it over the weekend.

  2. The news that I received this morning said, “Friday, April 29, beginning at 6:00 p.m. during special events at Apple’s
retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers.” Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it there until 8PM.

  3. According to Apple website, if you pre-order Tiger, it’ll be delivered by 4/29. Since it’s hard to make sure everyone receives it on 4/29 itself, I figure you might actually get it a couple of days earlier. Just a guess.

As for me, I’m gonna pick it up from the computer store at my school. They’ve been selling single-license Panther here for $39 so hopefully it’ll be the same for Tiger. =)

  4. $39? 🙁 We’re only allowed to sell it for $69. But, if you want to pre-order Mac OS X 10.4, you’ll have to pay $114.99 (plus $4.99 shipping).

  5. I think Duke and Apple have a really good partnership and that’s why we get such a good deal.
By the way, are you an Apple reseller?

  6. I’m an employee at my campus’ reseller. Enjoy the horribly out-of-date photos. Unfortunately, I’m not their webmaster.

  7. Haha I like how it says “Apple Computers” and then “PC Computers”. Like, Personal Computer Computers? =)

I just ordered it from the Apple website for 89 Euro – educational discount – can you not avail of that price?

  9. If you fall under the guidelines for an educational discount, then you can pre-order Tiger from both MacMall and Apple for $69. I’m not sure about foreign prices though.
