My latest Photoshop tutorial attempts to aid you in turning one of your own pictures into an iPod silhouette poster. While this effect has been covered in several tutorials on other websites, I believe this one is unique as it not only preserves the subtle tones from within the silhouette, it also serves as a primer for the Extract filter and will help Photoshop users to better understand how this enigmatic feature works to isolate an image’s subject from its background.
Do you want to learn how to create your own iPod-style ads? Or would you just like to learn how to use Photoshop’s Extract filter? Then Rick’s latest Graphics Tip is for you. Enjoy! And try not to get too frustrated.
