Gimp.app has been updated to include Gimp v2.2.3. You can read the release notes for Gimp v2.2.3 here. Additionally, the Gimp.app package now includes an AppleScript to “Turn On X11 Focus Follows Mouse”, which correctly alters X11 so that you only have to click a window once to bring it into focus (rather than twice).
