Well, for the second time in this blog’s existence, Site Meter’s image server went offline, which effectively crippled this site as the page refused to finish loading until the Site Meter image loaded. I know that you get what you pay for, but I can’t forgive something that cripples my site. For the time being, I’ve switched over to StatCounter, but it only keeps track of 100 visits. Does anyone else know of any other good/free stat service or WP plugin? I’d love to use StatTraq, but the current conflict with mod_gzip is preventing me from doing so. What I’m looking for is a good/free stat service or WP plugin that (at the very least) keeps track of unique visits, referrals, and logs more than 100 instances. Any help is appreciated.
