I’m Looking For a Star Wars Fan Artist
This is probably a long shot, but would any of you (my kind readers) happen to know a Mr. Scott Thompson? The Mr. Scott Thompson that I am looking for is the artist behind the two Star Wars fan illustrations that have been included with this post. I have tried to send an email to him several times, but I fear that his email address is just as dead as his website. If any of you have any up-to-date contact information for the artist behind the following two illustrations, please contact me ASAP. Thank you in advance for any possible leads as to the whereabouts of this artist. Please click the following link to see the images.
The Optimus Keyboard
The Optimus Keyboard has already made its rounds on Digg and Slashdot, but if you haven’t seen this futuristic keyboard with OLED display keys, then you’re missing out. Since it “will be OS-independent,” I plan to purchase one as soon as it’s available.
Thunderbird Update v1.0.6
Thunderbird has been updated to v1.0.6. This update improves stability and is recommended for all users. The release notes are available here. Read the Favored Freeware entry for Thunderbird here.
Firefox Update v1.0.6
Uninstall Greasemonkey ASAP
If you are using Greasemonkey, a popular Firefox extension which allows near-omnipotent control of most websites, uninstall it as soon as possible! A major security exploit has been discovered. It is highly recommended that you uninstall Greasemonkey and patiently wait for an updated version to correct this issue.
Update: This security exploit has been resolved by the recently released Greasemonkey v0.3.5. It is recommended that you either install Greasemonkey v0.3.5, or uninstall Greasemonkey immediately.
